After the South Korean company Krafton launched the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) for Android devices, the iPhone users were excited for the iOS version of the game and were eagerly waiting for its launch. Krafton has once again surprised its fans after it hinted at the possible release date of BGMI iOS in one of its recent Instagram posts. BGMI is the revamped Indian version of PUBG Mobile game, one of the most popular and widely played battle royale games.
Taking to its official Instagram handle, Krafton hinted at the BGMI iOS release and wrote, «We thought you missed it earlier. So, just wanted to let you know Stay tuned for more!».
Wooyol Lim, Head of Battlegrounds Mobile Division at Krafton, said that the developers are working overtime to develop the iOS version of BGMI for players in India without any delay. He added that the company will make announcements on its social media handle.

According to reports, the company is expected to release the game for iOS users on August 20. However, this is not the first time that Krafton has dropped hints about the launch of the iOS version of the game. The company is yet to confirm the official launch date of the BGMI iOS version.
Within a week of its launch, BGMI has made a tremendous record and more than 30 million people have downloaded it till now. After 50 million downloads were completed on the Google Play Store, the company announced a brand-new event for the BGMI players where they will be given a 50M download reward.

Like Android, the beta version of BGMI for iOS users is expected to be launched soon. However, before launching a stable version, it will be tested for some time.
Users will also get a hint on the official FAQs section of BGMI about the launch of the iOS version. If a user goes to the official FAQ section of BGMI, then you will see a question asking, «Is Krafton Battlegrounds preparing to launch the iOS version of Mobile India (BGMI)?»
In response to the above question, the company informed that it will keep the fans updated about further development of the iOS version of the game. The company stated that all the information about the new updates will be released on the official website and their social media handles.
The game comes with a certain set of restrictions for teenagers and players who are below 18 years of age. For the unversed, PUBG was banned by the Indian government in 2020 due to data privacy concerns under the provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
