A man is in a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the stomach at a Mobile Walmart.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 9:22 p.m., according to Mobile police. Management inside of the Rangeline Road Walmart were told that two men were shooting at one another in the parking lot.
By the time the officer got to the area to investigate, both men had left the scene, according to officials. About 25 minutes later, officers went to Providence Hospital after getting a call about a victim with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
A detective with the Mobile Police Department found that the male with the stomach injury was sitting in his vehicle when the other male shot him.
The identities of both individuals have not been released yet and officials are still investigating.
